I first noticed Nelly’s house while walking my dog through the neighborhood. She had so many fun and developmentally appropriate toys in her lovely yard I was tempted to knock on the door for a play date for my older son. One day I noticed a sign for Tiny Toes and jumped at the chance to call her – while my older son was already enrolled in a preschool program, I was looking for a part-time caregiver for my 7 month old son so he could get used to being away from home. Nelly and Abuela immediately made our son feel comfortable and safe, and pretty soon he was even napping for her. Fast forward nearly a year and Nelly came to the rescue again: after having difficulties at a new school program we decided to transition our older son to part-time care with Nelly until we could re-enroll him at his previous school. We very quickly noticed a change in our older son’s demeanor, and a few behavioral issues we had with him began to dissipate – definitely proof-positive that the loving environment at Nelly’s can help smooth out issues with transitioning/changing child care. The best reference possible for Tiny Toes is Nelly’s own children: they are as sweet, smiling, and loving as their mother, who clearly has a true affection for every child in her care. She even brought over a few dinners after my youngest was born, a gesture I still appreciate to this day!

Tiny Toes daycare has been heaven sent! My children have been going to Mrs. Nelly’s now for almost 2 years. In that time, Mrs. Nelly and Mrs. Blanca have done an amazing job at providing a safe,loving and fun atmosphere for my 6 and 4 year old. Also, Mrs. Nelly helped a lot with helping my son get ready to transition into Kindergarten by providing lots of educational and motor skill development. Tiny Toes is a wonderful preschool and daycare! The new facility is beautiful, clean and the environment is very appealing to children. I had my daughter at Tiny Toes Family Daycare for over a year and now she is at the new location. She loves it. I have got to know Mrs. Nelly, she is beyond qualified, loving, and has the passion and enthusiasm for children. The staff really cares about my daughter’s well-being and keep her brain engaged and stimulated. Since joining Tiny Toes, my daughter’s social skills have improved significantly. Best preschool around, hands down! I know it can be difficult to leave our children in the care of someone else, but nothing warms my heart more and makes me feel safe, knowing my child is excited to go to his preschool everyday! My son has only been talking since April of this year and already he knows all his letters of the alphabet and their sounds, can write his name and classmates names, as well as count in English and Spanish from 1-40, and say his colors in both languages too:) Ms. Nelly and her staff are phenomenal, not only with how they talk to each child and meet each of their needs, but also with how they keep structure, which allows the kids to know what to expect and how to correct behaviors independently:) You can tell Ms. Nelly and her staff truly care about the children and it’s not just a job to them! I’m blessed knowing my child is in good hands everyday and that he will be more than prepared for kindergarten!!

I can’t say enough good stuff about Nelly and her staff; they are truly dedicated to the kids! All three of my children have attended Tiny Toes at some point and all three genuinely seem to love it! When my three year old asks if he can go there on the weekends, you know they’re doing everything right!
They have fun curriculum, take part in a reading program, as well as a healthy food program. Nelly also has an app that generates updates on my infant so I can check in on how he’s doing throughout the day!
Best of all, they treat my kids like their own and give them all the love and attention I would be giving them if I wasn’t at work!

I’ve researched various childcare facilities for my children and for me, what it comes down to is, if I feel like my child is in a safe and loving environment, then this is the place for them. My youngest has been here since she was 6 months. And for me the hardest was bringing them in at such a young age. She’s now 14 months and I can see her grow to be a smart, social, and independent little girl. Tiny Toes is a nurturing, loving, safe place for children. They offer a program that allows them to grow into their own individual person. And what I also liked is that they are also enrolled in a program to ensure they provide nutritious healthy meals for the children.
